Today I noticed a similarity between the beginning of The Walkmen’s What’s In It For Me? and the end of cLOUDDEAD’s our name. This is a clip of one crossfading into the other, in respective order, and then panning out right and left, respectively.
I tuned our name up 32 cents to better match it to The Walkmen song. I think my brain is tricking me into hearing the two alternating chords from What’s In It For Me? in that huge outro chord.
Does anyone else think they sound similar?
